Washington Monument State Park
Named for the first monument in the country erected to the "father of our country," George Washington. A rugged stone tower was dedicated to the first president by the citizens of Boonsboro in 1827.

We Are Family CDC - Summer Camp Program
The program offers a comprehensive full day of activities, including arts, music, literature, reading, physical education, computers, dramatics, swimming, day trips, snacks and so much more.
The Summer Camp Program runs from June to August.
Administrative staff are professional State of MD certified teachers, who have oversight for all lesson planning, training and development for all counselors and associate staff.

Maryland State Parks offer visitors more than 2,000 campsites, 120 full-service and camper cabins, 78 youth group area camping, and 100 picnic shelters. These facilities can be reserved from this website or through the toll-free reservation call center at 1-888-432-CAMP (2267). For facility use not available from this website or through the reservation call center, please call the specific park for information.
Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance of the date of arrival (365 days including the current day).

The Nature Center at Martinek State Park
Just east of the town of Denton in rural Caroline County, Martinak State Park sits quietly nestled along the banks of the Choptank River. Designated a state park in 1964, the bulk of this 107-acre park was donated to the state by George Martinak, a retired government printer, World War I veteran and camping enthusiast.
